===2 Peter=== * [[2 Peter 1:2]] Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord <2962>, * [[2 Peter 1:8]] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord <2962> Jesus Christ. * [[2 Peter 1:11]] For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord <2962> and Saviour Jesus Christ. * [[2 Peter 1:14]] Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord <2962> Jesus Christ hath shewed me. * [[2 Peter 1:16]] For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord <2962> Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. * [[2 Peter 2:9]] The Lord <2962> knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: * [[2 Peter 2:11]] Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord <2962>. * [[2 Peter 2:20]] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord <2962> and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. * [[2 Peter 3:2]] That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord <2962> and Saviour: * [[2 Peter 3:8]] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord <2962> as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. * [[2 Peter 3:9]] The Lord <2962> is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. * [[2 Peter 3:10]] But the day of the Lord <2962> will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. * [[2 Peter 3:15]] And account that the longsuffering of our Lord <2962> is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; * [[2 Peter 3:18]] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord <2962> and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
