'''Minuscule 160''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), ε 213 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. Dated by its [[Colophon (publishing)|colophon]] to the year 1123.<sup>[1]</sup> == Description == The codex contains a complete text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 216 thick parchment leaves (size 22.6 cm by 18 cm).<sup>[1]</sup> Written in one column per page, in 23 lines per page (size of column 15.7 by 10.7 cm),<sup>[1]</sup> in brown ink, the capital letters in red.<sup>[2]</sup> It uses "ι adscriptum".<sup>[2]</sup> It contains tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, (not [[Eusebian Canons]]), lectionary markings, [[Synaxarion|synaxaria]], [[Menologion]], and subscriptions.<sup>[2]</sup> == Text == [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] did not place it in any [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts|Category]]. According to Wisse it has mixed text in Luke 1. It is classified to the textual [[Family 1424]]. == History == The manuscript was housed at the [[Barberini Palace]], founded by the Cardinal, Francis II.<sup>[3]</sup> It was examined by [[Andrew Birch|Birch]] and [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).
