[[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 13th century.<sup>[1]</sup> 

== Description ==

The codex contains the text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 77 parchment leaves (size 21.2 cm by 14.5 cm),<sup>[1]</sup>  with two large [[Lacuna (manuscripts)|lacunae]] (Matt 1:1-10:13; John 2:1-21:25).<sup>[2]</sup> 
Written in two columns per page, in 38 lines per page (size of column 17.1 by 5 cm),<sup>[1]</sup> in dark-brown ink, capital letters in colour.<sup>[3]</sup> 

It contains κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, (not [[Eusebian Canons]]), and lectionary markings.<sup>[3]</sup>

== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Hermann von Soden]] included it to the textual family [[Family Kx|K<sup>x</sup>]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] did not place it in any [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts|Category]].<sup>[4]</sup>

== History ==

This codex, together with [[Minuscule 173|173]], [[Minuscule 174|174]], [[Minuscule 175|175]], and [[Minuscule 177|177]], was brought from the Library of the Basilian monks.<sup>[2]</sup> 

It was examined by [[Giuseppe Bianchini|Bianchini]], [[Andrew Birch|Birch]], and [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]].<sup>[3]</sup>

It is currently housed at the [[Vatican Library]] (Vat. gr. 2113), at [[Rome]].<sup>[1]</sup>
