'''Minuscule 206''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), α 365 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], partly on parchment, partly on paper (like codex [[Minuscule 69|69]]). [[Palaeography|Palaeographically]] it had been assigned to the 15th century.<sup>[1]</sup> 

== Description ==

The codex contains the text of the [[Acts of the Apostles]], [[Catholic epistles]], and [[Pauline epistles]] on 397 leaves (size 26.5&nbsp;cm by 17&nbsp;cm), with some [[Lacuna (manuscript)|lacunae]].<sup>[1]</sup> Written in 1 column per page, 20 lines per page. The order of books: Acts of the Apostles, Catholic epistles, and Pauline epistles.<sup>[2]</sup> In the 14th century 2 John, 3 John, and Epistle Jude were supplemented.<sup>[1]</sup>

== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Caesarean text-type]] in the Catholic epistles and the [[Byzantine text-type]] in rest of the books of the codex. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] plased it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category III|Category III]] in the Catholic epistles, and in Category V in rest of books<sup>[3]</sup>

In Pauline epistles text is close to the codices [[Minuscule 429|429]], [[Minuscule 522|522]], [[Minuscule 1891|1891]], and [[Minuscule 2815|2815]].

== History ==

It was examined by [[Andrew Birch|Birch]] and [[Dean Burgon|Burgon]].<sup>[2]</sup> 

It is currently housed at the [[Lambeth Palace]] (1182), at [[London]].<sup>[1]</sup>
