'''Minuscule 225''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), ε 1210 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. Dated by a [[Colophon (publishing)|colophon]] to the year 1192.<sup>[1]</sup> == Description == The codex contains a complete text of the four [[Gospel]]s, on 171 parchment leaves (size 13.7 cm by 9.8 cm).<sup>[1]</sup> Written in one column per page, 29 lines per page.<sup>[2]</sup> It contains pictures, lectionary markings, [[Synaxarion|synaxaria]], and [[Menologion]].<sup>[2]</sup> [[Jesus and the woman taken in adultery|John 7:53-8:11]] placed after John 7:36. == Text == In Matthew 6:13 it has unusual ending of the [[Lord's Prayer]]: <blockquote> ὅτι σοῦ ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία καὶ ἡ δύναμις καὶ ἡ δόξα, τοῦ πατρὸς καὶ τοῦ υἱοῦ καὶ τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας. ἀμήν (''For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit for ever. Amen.'') </blockquote> This ending have only two other manuscripts: [[Minuscule 157|157]] and [[Minuscule 418|418]]. == History == The manuscript was examined by Treschow and [[Francis Karl Alter|Alter]].<sup>[2]</sup> Alter used it in his edition of the Greek text of the New Testament. Formerly it was held at Vienna at the Imperial Library (Suppl. Gr. 102).<sup>[2]</sup> It is currently housed at the [[Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III|Biblioteca Nazionale]] (Cod.
