It is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], written on vellum, on parchment leaves. [[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 11th century.<sup>[1]</sup> 

== Description ==

The codex contains a text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 292 thick parchment leaves (30.2&nbsp;cm by 23.2&nbsp;cm), with considerable [[Lacuna (manuscripts)|lacunae]].<sup>[2]</sup> It is written in one column per page, biblical text in 13 lines per page, text of commentary in 42 lines per page, in brown ink. Capital letters in red ink. It contains lists of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, lectionary markings (partially), and a commentary (Mark - Victorinus).<sup>[3]</sup> 
Grandlt written, but very imperfect.<sup>[2]</sup>

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].<sup>[5]</sup>

It was examined by [[Johann Jakob Griesbach|Griesbach]], [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]], Gregory, Martin.<sup>[6]</sup> 

It is currently housed at the [[Bibliothèque nationale de France]] (Gr. 191) at [[Paris]].<sup>[1]</sup>
