'''Minuscule 338''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), ε 1006 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. [[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 10th century.<sup>[1]</sup> == Description == The codex contains a complete text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 365 parchment leaves (14 cm by 10.7 cm). Written in one column per page, in 18 lines per page.<sup>[1]</sup> It contains [[Epistula ad Carpianum]], the Eusebian tables, tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, [[Eusebian Canons]], and pictures.<sup>[2]</sup> John 5:4 and [[Jesus and the woman taken in adultery|John 7:53-8:11]] are marked by [[obelus]].<sup>[3]</sup> == History == The manuscript was examined by Pasino, [[Johannes Martin Augustinus Scholz|Scholz]], and [[Dean Burgon|Burgon]]. It was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by [[Johannes Martin Augustinus Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).<sup>[4]</sup> Gregory saw it in 1886.<sup>[3]</sup> The manuscript is currently housed at the [[Turin National University Library]] (B. VII. 33) in [[Turin]]. Three folios of the codex are housed in the same library but with the shelf number B.
