Bible Society In New Zealand
From Textus Receptus
The Bible Society in New Zealand began in 1846.
The aim of the organisation is to promote the distribution of Christian Scriptures in appropriate format in New Zealand and overseas without doctrinal note and comment.
The Society raises funds in New Zealand for Bible work throughout the world, promotes the use of scripture in New Zealand in partnership with the churches, and distributes Bibles and other Holy Scripture in New Zealand.
The Bible Society in New Zealand is a member of the United Bible Societies, a fellowship of Bible Societies throughout the world which co-operate to make the Bible available to people everywhere in a language they can understand and at a price they can afford.
Unfortunatly the Society follows the corrupted Greek and Hebrew texts of Wescott and Hort and rejects the Textus Receptus and the Masoretic Text.
