Minuscule 230 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε 173 (Soden), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment. Dated by a colophon to the year 1013.[1]

Description
The codex contains a complete text of the four Gospels, on 218 parchment leaves (size 21.8 cm by 17 cm).[1] Written in two columns per page, 24 lines per page.[1] It contains the Epistula ad Carpianum, tables of κεφαλαια, synaxaria, Menologion, doubled Menologion, subscriptions, ρηματα, and στιχοι.[2]
Text
The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Caesarean text-type. Aland placed it in Category III.[3] The manuscript belongs to the textual family Ferrar Group (f13).
History
The manuscript was written by Luke, a monk and scribe.[2]
It was described by D. G. Moldenhawer, who collated it about 1783 for Birch.[4] It is currently housed at the Escurial (Cod. Escurialensis, y. III. 5).[1]
