Minuscule 271 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε 169 (Soden), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment. Paleographically it had been assigned to the 11th century.[1]

Contents

Description

The codex contains the text of the four Gospels on 252 parchment leaves (19.2 cm by 13.2 cm). Written in two columns per page, in 22 lines per page.[1] It contains the Epistula ad Carpianum, Eusebian tables, tables of κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, κεφαλαια, Ammonian Sections, Eusebian Canons, and pictures.[2]

Textualy it is close to the codex 53.

History

The manuscripts was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scholz (1794-1852).[3]

The manuscript is currently housed at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Suppl. Gr. 75) at Paris.[1]
