Minuscule 5 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), δ 453 (Soden). It is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on 342 parchment leaves (21 by 15.5 cm), dated paleographically to the 13th century. Written in one column per page, 28 lines per page.[1]

Description
The codex contains entire of the New Testament except the Book of Revelation (Catholic epistles before Pauline epistles). The order of books: Gospels, Acts, Catholic epistles, Pauline epistles (Hebrews placed before 1 Timothy). Colossians before Philippians. It contains tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections (Mark 234 - Mark 16:9), the Eusebian Canons, the Euthalian apparatus.[2] It is carefully written.[3]
Text
The Greek text of this codex in Catholic epistles and Pauline epistles Aland placed it in Category III, in Gospels and Acts — in Category V.The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type. Aland placed it in Category V.[4]
History
Calabria probably is the place of its provenance.[2] It was used by Robert Estienne in his Editio Regia, and designated by him as δ'. It was examined by Wettstein and Scholz.[3]
The codex is located now at the National Library of France (Gr. 106) in Paris.[1]
