Affected Teaching
In the Lord’s prayer, the Lord Jesus Christ is exalting His heavenly Father by stating that His is the Kingdom, which is the Kingdom of God plus God is the rightful owner of the entire universe. Then the Lord states that He has the power. The very power which created the universe and the earth. Then the Lord Jesus states by reason of God being God, He is entitled to all the glory and all the praise for all eternity. For it is the hand of God which created us and saved us, so we give Him all the glory. It is unfortunate that the modern versions remove this section of Scripture because it is a fitting end to the prayer by our Lord. This is another vicious attack on the person of God the Father. Instead of the modern versions bringing glory to Him, they omit Him. Woe unto them on Judgment Day!
