Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
The Words "the Son of God" are removed in the TNIV. NIV footnote says, "Some MSS omit the Son of God"
The NASB and NKJV include the words "the Son of God" without a footnote, and the NIV, NRSV, ASV, Revised Version, Jerusalem Bible, NEB, and CEV point out the variant but retain the phrase in the text. UBS4 decided that it probably is original.
