2 John

=2 John 1:1

In Beza's 1598 Greek New Testament, it has the τῇ whereas Scrivener deletes τῇ in the phrase ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ, which the KJV translators used for "the" in the phrase in the truth. The NKJV following Scrivener has "in truth" omitting "the" and slightly changing the meaning.

=2 John 1:1

Beza:

ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ,

Scrivener:

ἐν ἀληθείᾳ,

KJV

in the truth
NKJV

in truth
