Commentary

It is doubtful that a mental state of unbelief hindered Christ's miracles, but rather the unbelief of the people would have caused less to come to Him for healing and miracles. The unbelief mentioned here would have resulted in less people coming out to see Him, rather than a prevailing attitude of the people that hindered Him.
