(KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Affected Teaching

When seeking the Kingdom, the modern versions leave it up to you as to what kingdom to seek. The King James Bible makes it clear that we are to seek the Kingdom of God. In today’s confused society, there are many false religions, like New Age, who would have you seek the universe or seek some ascended master in some mythical kingdom like Shangri La. For salvation we must seek the Kingdom of God and there is no other kingdom to seek. There are only two kingdoms on this earth, the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. If you are not seeking the Kingdom of God, then you are seeking the kingdom of Satan. Once again the King James Bible points us to the correct teaching.
