ΠΡΟΣ ΡΩΜΑΙΟΥΣ 4:19 καὶ μὴ ἀσθενήσας τῇ πίστει οὐ κατενόησεν τὸ ἑαυτοῦ σῶμα ἤδη νενεκρωμένον ἑκατονταετής που ὑπάρχων καὶ τὴν νέκρωσιν τῆς μήτρας Σάρρας·

Romans 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

"And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body NOW (ηδη - eede) dead...". The little word "now" is found in the majority of all texts including Sinaiticus, A, C, D, and is in Wycliffe, Tyndale, Coverdale, Bishops, Geneva, KJB, NKJV, RV, ASV, NASB and the NRSV.

However Vaticanus omits the word and so do the NIV, RSV, ESV, NET and Holman. Westcott-Hort used to omit the word entirely, but now the latest UBS critical text puts it back in but within brackets. Notice that the RSV omitted it, then the NRSV put it back in, and then the ESV once again has taken it out. But wait! The new 2014 ISV is out and they have put it back in again!
